Bro Idris Schools Rugby Festival on the Dolgellau Marian 25.06.019
It was so good to see Dolgellau Rugby Club junior members on a wet and miserable Marian last Tuesday morning helping to referee and officiate at the Gwynedd Council, Bro Idris Primary Schools Rugby Festival. Having finished the years Uni courses, Coleg exams, and work placement seven youngsters from the club helped referee the hundred and seventy children from years three and six from the Mawddach and Wnion catchment area around Dolgellau.
These young volunteers are the lifeblood of junior rugby in Wales and to commit as they have done in Dolgellau is a credit to both the sport and their attitude to securing future generations of young rugby players both girls and boys in the Mawddach Valley. Well done….!!
