It was the turn of Dolgellau RFC juniors to present their much awaited end of season awards, with the Under 12,14, and 16s being presented at the Club on Friday night. Club Coaches Justin Kelly (Under 16s) , Elwyn Lloyd, Tudur Evans (Under 14s) and Gareth Rogers and Rhys Llewelyn (Under 12s) , undertook  the roles of ‘Master of Ceremonies’ for the evening .
Almost a hundred juniors,  parents and club officials enjoyed a night of presentations not only for on field performance but also some light hearted forfeits for both players and parents alike. Coaches were not exempt as Under 16s manager Justin Kelly found out when he was awarded a satellite tracking
‘bug’ by wife Bethan. He had left the family holdall on the train to Bologna during the under 16s recent Italy tour. The bag still hasn’t been found along with all next seasons written  tactics and player positions. Said Justin” It looks like an Italian cover up job to get on the inside of Welsh junior rugby !!!!!!!! “
Jago Cartwright was crowned the coveted Players Player of the Year for the ‘Under 12s’ with Janos Kalafuzs the ‘Under 14s’. It was no suprise that  Ben Davies was awarded both Players Player and Top Try scorer in the ‘Under 16s’. Ben has been selected for this seasons RGC Under 16s.  Gwion Jones  who won Player of the Year also played in the RGC Under 16 squad last season.
In the Under 12s Gweltaz Davalan took the Player of the Year with Oliver Draisey the Under 14s and Gwion Jones the Under 16s.
